Corporate Responsibility

We may be small, but we are mighty! We believe that all businesses can make a difference to here is our Sustainability Policy and Charitable Giving Policy.

Sustainability Policy

Our sustainability policy will will always be a work in progress as I am sure there is more that we can do to be better. Please feel free to contact me with helpful suggestions of what else we can do.

What we already do:

  • Meetings are generally held via zoom unless a client is local to us.

  • The business is 95% paperless .. the other 5% is due to HMRC’s antiquated systems!

  • All confidential waste is shredded and then recycled (by a third party)

  • As a household we recycle, have a compost bin for food waste and use a green energy tariff.

  • As a business we have signed up to Ecologi to offset our business carbon footprint and as well as projects around the globe, support tree planting in the UK too. You can follow the link to our profile to see how we are doing or click on the image in our page footer too. If this is something you are interested in for your business then sign up via the link at the bottom of our Ecolgi page and they will donate additional trees for both of us.

Software suppliers we work with:

Software is essential to our business and our current software set up is: Brightpay, ClickUp, Dext, Dropbox, Google/Gmail, MS Office, XAMA Platform, Xero and Zoom. Their individual policies can be found on their websites.

Other key suppliers we work with:

  • Homeshred, Martha Brook, 3 Mobile - again, their policies can be found on their websites and when we need purchases we ensure we are as ethical as we can be.

  • Our team! Obviously I can’t forget our team and we encourage them to be eco in their businesses too.

What we pledge to do:

  • Supplier checks - we will keep checking in with our suppliers and ensuring we are making the right choices and working with the right people.

  • Acknowledge our privilege - we know that not all businesses are in a position to be able to offset or make the “green” choice as these are often more costly, so being able to do so is a position of privilege and we want to work on a formula to have a logical basis for increasing our offset to help cover those who can’t.

Charitable Giving Policy

As a business we have always given back and supported charities, but we tend to be quite British about it and not shout about it, so as awkward as it is, here is us shouting about it!

First Days Children’s Charity - working to reduce the effects of long term poverty on children, which in the current cost of living crisis is even more important than ever. We do this via a monthly donation and supporting their Christmas gift project each year too.

FND Hope UK - working to promote awareness of Functional Neurological Disorder, support affected individuals and advance research for the prevention, treatment and recovery of FND.
